Scope: Installation of 4.8k of Water Main in the Aberfoyle DMA from 90mm to 160mm HPPE and in Rural environments. The method of Installation is Open cut / Slip line / Pipe Burst and Directional Drilling.
The existing water main is asbestos cement.
The works are on type 3 / 4 roads, type 2 roads, verge and through fields. We have been working in the golf course and through private land that require section notices at Aberfoyle. There is also a section through the forest which we have to negotiate access with the forestry commission.
The project was completed on time within budget.
